2025 NBD Meeting in Atlanta

The KASF National Board (NB) Directors meeting took place in Atlanta, GA, on April 12, 2025, with eighteen NB directors and twenty additional guests. We welcomed three new leaders in the Northeastern (NY), Eastern (DC Metro), and Southwestern (TX) regions.

Throughout the meeting, Regional Presidents and Committee Chairs shared their achievements from the past year and outlined their goals for the upcoming years. These exchanges promoted a unified direction across regions and sparked thoughtful conversations about KASF’s mission and impact. Together, the board members developed action plans that align national priorities with regional needs.

We extend our appreciation to the Southern Region for their warm hospitality and look forward to meeting you all again in Virginia next year.

Dr. & Mrs. InHwan Oh Chair Scholarships

The Southern Regional Chapter (SRC) recently received a new chair scholarship from their long-time supporter, Drs. Pok C. and Hooja Kim.

Dr. Kim and his wife moved to Atlanta 11 years ago after retiring from 30 years of service at the Hudson Valley Veterans Hospital in New York. They have always been deeply thankful for the support they received during their school years.

They have continued to donate to the SRC to help passionate students and children of struggling military families.
