KATHERINE PARKER OUT-RAISES EDDIE MORALES BY OVER 3 TO 1

Alpine, Texas – Texas House District 74 Republican nominee Katherine Parker out-raised incumbent Eddie Morales by a margin of over 3 to 1 in the first half of 2022 according to the recently-released semiannual TEC filings.

Parker, a lifelong West Texan and who owns and operates multiple businesses across the 74th district, raised over $100,000, one of the highest totals in the State of Texas for a non-incumbent State House candidate. Morales raised under $33,000.

“These fundraising numbers are just the latest indicator of what I have already learned logging thousands of miles across West Texas – the 74th district is tired of the same old politicians who say one thing when they’re in town and do another in Austin. They want businesspeople who think outside of the box and let their actions speak for themselves,” said Parker, who lives in Alpine with her husband Chance.

“The hardworking people of the 74th district are dealing with an untenable situation at our southern border, skyrocketing cost of living, and a Democratic party that is drifting further from their values by the minute. They want a fighter, and in me they have one. I look forward to continuing to travel this district and spread my message loud and clear.”
