Opening Week Update

Opening week operational plan.

“The art of life lies in a constant readjustment to our surrounding”

-Kakuzo Okakura

The unseasonable warm weather has presented challenges that are great and we are proud of our operations crew who have been making snow at every opportunity. Substantial amounts of snow have been made and we will be able to open on Dec. 26th despite another week of marginal temps and limited snow-making windows. Our investment in snow-making over the past several years will allow for a quick recovery and rapid terrain expansion as temperatures drop.

At this time the most likely scenario is that we will open with Holly and the beginner hill served by the Holly Quad and Magic Carpet. With the limited terrain our operational plan must adapt in order make the most of the situation.

We will open on the 26th of December at 8am and close at 4pm.

Opening day of the 2021-2022 season will be reserved for KB Season Pass holders only. Night passes will be honored. This is, of course, not ideal. Our plan in place for opening day is what we believe to be the best way to provide a quality experience for our customers as we eagerly await another run of colder temps through next week. We have substantial snow banked on both Twister and Coal Chute and anticipate those trails will open very soon.

KB will open for all on Dec. 27th. We will operate from 9am to 4pm Dec. 27 - Dec. 31st

Daily ticket sales and lessons will be limited in accordance to skiable acreage and lift capacity.  Again this is done in an effort to make the experience enjoyable and limit concerns associated with overcrowding and limited skiable acreage.  We anticipate night skiing and a return to

our regular schedule on Saturday Jan. 1st.

  • Lessons will be available Monday the 27th through Friday the 31st at 11am and 1pm.

  • Kissing Bridge Cruisers available Monday the 27th through Friday the 31st at noon.

  • Bridge Buster Camp is rescheduled to 12/29-12/31.

  • Lift tickets will be available only at the Central Ticket Center

(online sales will resume Jan. 1st)

Day tickets will be $30.00

Ticket prices may revert to the published rates as conditions dictate, please check our website or call ahead to verify.

The Upper Parking Lot will be available to skiers and riders again this season!

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We will keep one eye on the weather and one eye on the snow guns, taking advantage of every opportunity and remaining optimistic for a great season on the slopes with all our winter friends!
