PRESIDENT'S COLUMN
KBA AMBASSADORS
Chris Winkle
KBA President/CEO
@kbachris
I passionately presented a new idea to the Board asking for permission to launch an initiate called “KBA Ambassadors”. The concept is derived from an idea to annually recognize an elite group of broadcasters for their service to the Association and to engage them as an extension of my office to assist when called upon. The Board graciously approved the concept at the July Board meeting and conferred the distinct recognition of Kentucky Broadcasters Association Ambassador, to the following broadcasters: Ambassador Barb Smith, Ambassador Chris Aldridge, Ambassador Mike Feldhaus, Ambassador Jim Moore and Ambassador Carl Nathe. These elite individuals will be formally introduced at the opening reception of KBA’s Annual Conference on Monday, October 8, 2018. Ambassadors will be assisting with the Conference and wearing a coordinating color sport coat to be easily recognized. Ambassadors have accepted a lifetime appointment and receive complimentary membership in the Association. Please join me in congratulating the inaugural class of KBA Ambassadors.
