NAB ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO 2021 CONFERENCES - KBA 2021 AFFECTED
NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith announced yesterday new plans for the 2021 NAB Show, Radio Show and Sales & Marketing Television Exchange (SMTE). In a surprising and innovative move, not only will the NAB Show be postponed from April to October on the calendar, the Radio Show and SMTE will colocate in Las Vegas at the same time. The dates for the "convention trifecta" will be October 9-13, 2021. More details will be released in coming weeks and months. Click here to read the full release.
Unfortunately the dates mentioned above from the NAB announcement contradict with the previously planned dates for KBA's 2021 Annual Conference in Owensboro. "KBA's Conference Committee, under the direction of Chair-Elect Mark Buckles, is already hard at work looking at potential new dates for next years conference", said Chris Winkle KBA President and CEO. "We remain confident that we will be able to secure new dates with the Owensboro Convention Center that will accommodate our annual membership gathering." More to come in future newsletters.
