UPCOMING WEBINAR OPPORTUNITIES
"CRISIS LEADERSHIP FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW"
WITH MARK LEVY

TODAY @ 10:10AM EDT

Admittedly there are a lot of things vying for your time, but if you join your  Kentucky Broadcasters Association  for our  “From Influence to Impact:   Crisis Leadership for Today and Tomorrow”  webinar , we promise to share ideas, strategies and tactics that you as a  manager  can put into play immediately. Is this important? Yes, because as media  managers  we are in a situation that has never happened before but is likely to happen again. This makes our role all the more challenging. On the plus side, the leaders we historically revere the most are those who were leading in tough times. So in this session  designed for managers , we'll address the following:

  • How these times can help management “peel back the onion layers” of their teams
  • They all look fast in the pasture
  • They know, uh, don't they?
  • 3 things you and your team might consider doing to make the most out of these times
  • The value of 3 letter words (and 1 or 2 2 and 4 letter ones)
  • How managers (not sellers) might slow cancellations down
  • What do clients want?
  • How to make this applicable for the next “perfect storm”
  • Leader? Manager? Shepherd?

Your presenter is Mark Levy, President of Revenue Development Resources

KBA & FEEDING KY UNITE AGAINST HUNGER
The Kentucky Broadcasters Association and Feeding Kentucky are uniting   to combat hunger and food bank shortages in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are asking member stations to encourage their viewers and listeners to contribute monetary donations to support hunger relief efforts of the State’s food banks. Below is a link to three produced radio public service announcements, recorded by Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner, Ryan Quarles. Television stations are encouraged to air a feature on the partnership, along with adding graphics to your website and social media platforms.

“Even before the crisis, 1 in 7 Kentuckians struggled with hunger,” said Tamara Sandberg, Executive Director of Feeding Kentucky. “It has only gotten worse as Kentuckians face lost wages and missed school meals, and with seniors isolated at home and unable to access meals from their local senior center. We are grateful to Kentucky’s broadcasters for this great effort to ensure every Kentuckian has enough food to eat during these challenging times.”
