If you’ve taken any RAB training course, online certifications, or our virtual live training you know that our purpose is: To Inspire engage, educate, equip, and empower people so they believe in themselves, have confidence in their abilities and achieve even greater levels of success. You also know from our training that we love acronyms because they help us easily remember complex concepts. In a recent conversation with my friend Chris Forgy, SVP of Operations for Saga Communications, he shared with me his acronym for being great.
G – Gratitude
R – Respect
E – Enthusiasm
A – Accountability
T – Teamwork
What I like about Chris’ definition is that it can be personalized for any application. Personal life or business life, no matter what business you are in, these five pillars of being great are the backbone of a high-performance person and a high-performance culture.
You can also customize and personalize each of these concepts and bring them to life in your next sales meeting. Have a conversation with your peers or your team about what it means to be G.R.E.A.T. and see where it leads you.
