Highlights from December 2022 Local Market Report from the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® and Heartland Multiple Listing Service.

December 2022 average sales price for new and existing homes combined ($328,722) is 6.3% higher than December 2021.

There were 2,465 home sales (new and existing combined) for December 2022, which is 35.1% lower than last December (3,796).

Home inventory (new and existing combined) for December 2022 (5,208) is 31.6% higher compared to December 2021 (3,958).

The supply of new and existing homes for December 2022 is currently 1.6 months.
