January 2021

The official newsletter of Kentucky's Beef Industry.
Dear friends in the cattle industry,

What a year we have had! Covid-19 has affected all of us over the past year and it was no exception for the KCA Convention. We are really sorry we can’t all gather this year, but we are proud to be able to offer you many of the great programs and information that you usually see at convention. As you know, this year the convention will be held virtually, starting with the Beef Efficiency Conference, followed by the Forages Conference and ending the week with the Regional Meetings and Business and Awards Session. We have a great lineup of speakers and each of these sessions will allow for question-and-answer times so that you can learn as much as possible. More information can be found on topics and speakers throughout this program.

We encourage everyone to register early for each session through Zoom. You can register online at https://kycattle.org/convention.html . Also make sure to stick around until the end of each session for a chance to win $100.

Again, our Convention Committee wishes we could all be together to visit but hopefully our counties will be able to start hosting events again this year and we will plan to gather for the KCA Convention January 12-14, 2022 in Lexington.  We hope to see you on camera this week, let’s make the best of it!
