Paint Throw Down

KCKCC PCC students enjoyed a DJ, tie-dye, coloring sheets, painting, Chiefs artist and Duckies on the go for day #10 of the KCKCC First 12 Days @ KCKCC student activities.





Welcome Back Bash

KCKCC PCC students enjoyed day #11 of the KCKCC First 12 Days @ KCKCC student activities. Students ate (cake, tacos, Philly steaks, brisket/pork/chicken sandwiches, cotton candy, kettle corn, and funnel cakes), danced to great music, got airbrush tattoos, and had their caricatures drawn.

Face Painting

On day #12 of the KCKCC First 12 Days @ KCKCC student activities, the students enjoyed face painting.

Early Childhood Education

Early Childhood Education students were able to get their TB tests done while in class by the KCKCC Nurse, Angie Williams.  Students need their TB tests to do fieldwork in the local schools and childcare centers. 



Ice Cream

Culinary students used their Shatto milk flavors to make homemade ice cream. 

Appetizers

Culinary students are prepping for their appetizer presentations.  Each student will present their appetizers in a plated setting and discuss what appetizers they prepared.

Concrete

Bottorff Construction was on-site at KCKCC PCC to help Construction students pour concrete.  Deke, Jerry, and Aaron from Bottorff, helped the students use shovels, rakes and "come alongs" to move the concrete, used a wood board to screed the top of the concrete (screeding helps compact and consolidate the concrete) and used a steel trowel to create a smooth, hard and uniform finish.
