April 9, representatives from the KCMS Board of Directors met with local legislators to lobby for bills that CMA is supporting as part of our participation in CMA's Annual Legislative Advocacy Conference.
Throughout the day, President, Steve Wang, MD, President-Elect, Raymond Tsai, MD, Immediate Past-President, Chang Na, MD, BOD Member, Soham Shah, medical student Liliana Samano and Executive Director, Chrisy Muchow met with Senator Shannon Grove, Senator Melissa Hurtado, Assemblymember Vince Fong, Assemblymember Rudy Salas and their staffs to lobby on selected bills. We had some great conversations and learned about the priorities of the legislators in addition to lobbying for the selected bills.
