Additional Groups Eligible for Vaccination Beginning March 15, 2021
KERN COUNTY-Beginning March 15, COVID-19 vaccine becomes available to those with certain health conditions, disabilities, illness, and living spaces or work environments that put them at higher risk for serious COVID-19 illness.

Residents are encouraged to check with their healthcare provider regarding eligibility. Providers will use their clinical judgement to vaccinate individuals aged 16-64 who are determined to be at the very highest risk to get very sick from COVID-19. More...
Due to ongoing disruption in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supply and increasing demand, the California Medical Association (CMA), with the help of the State of California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) has established a portal to provide PPE at no cost to practices who are experiencing challenges in procuring PPE and/or facing financial hardship due to increasing costs. CMA is collecting a nominal shipping and handling fee per order to offset the actual costs associated with managing the program which include warehousing, packing and freight preparation and actual shipping costs. CMA's Legislative Advocacy Conference - The California Medical Association (CMA) will host its 47th Annual Legislative Advocacy Conference April 5 - 9, 2021, with an hour-long virtual program scheduled for Tuesday, April 6 at 10:00 a.m. Attendees will have the opportunity throughout the week to meet virtually with legislators on priority health care issues.
