Recently, we proudly watched as 11 students from A.L. Brown High School signed their letters of intent with Wayne Brothers Companies! The students were recognized during Kannapolis City Schools' Career Technical Education Signing Day after completing an apprenticeship program, which prepared them for careers in construction.

We had the privilege of joining Shannon Todd, the General Manager of the Amazon facility in Kannapolis, and the rest of his team as they awarded Kannapolis Middle School with $10,000 worth of STEM equipment. The students went on to compete in a coding challenge using technology that Amazon employs in their own warehouse. We are so thankful to have Amazon as a community partner!

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is offering Class B Truck Driver Training this July for anyone interested in becoming a Concrete or Dump Truck Driver. The program will provide extensive training to prepare students for the Commercial Driver's License (CDL) test, which will be administered at the conclusion of the course.
