Oct. 27 was a beautiful day to host KDB's 20th Annual  Community Tree Giveaway! Our board members, volunteers, staff, and participants were in high spirits throughout the event thanks to the gorgeous weather and trees. Thanks to the hundreds of Dentonites who came out and made this year's event a success!

Volunteers from KDB's Citizen Forester program, Denton High School, Embassy Suites, First United Bank, Koan School, Denton Ryan High School Key Club, Shepherd Dog, and TWU Helping Hands helped load nearly 700 trees into participants' cars. KDB volunteers are key to a successful Tree Giveaway, and we could not do it without the help of those groups. Thank you!

On the day of the Tree Giveaway, photographers Gabriel Lee and Trejon D'Angelo took some photos that really captured the spirit of the program.  View photos from the giveaway here.
Special thanks to this year's event sponsors!
