2013 Staff

We are excited to announce the staff of KDI for 2013! Some of our favorites, George Fogg, Ahmet Luleci, and Charlie Wheatley will be returning. Last year's newcomer Ed Austin is also able to come back.   AND Campbell Miller will be joining us for the first time. Campbell hails from Austin, TX and teaches social ballroom. Full Bio's for each instructor can be found on the KDI website here.

Help KDI Continue to Grow

As we think ahead to KDI 2013 we want to mention that most people said on the surveys that they came to KDI because someone invited them than for any other one reason. To help KDI continue to grow, each of you is in a position to think about your friends and figure out who would enjoy KDI. Please talk with your friends, share KDI. Don't forget to send them to the Knobtiger website or have them contact dawn@knobtiger.com.

Registration, Brochure, Tuition Same Price

The KDI Calendar year is already 1/2 over.  Less than 6 months to KDI!  The brochure and registration form have been updated to a five page packet and can be found here.  Please forward or print and send to your friends.  Base tuition prices will be the same as last year, no rate increase.  Like always, just a reminder that the first registration deadline is April 1st, after that prices go up $10 each month.

Family & Health Update

The Schwartz family is doing well. Chase is exceeding in High School, Taylor just placed 2nd in her National Dance competition at Disney and Parker just made it into the Advanced program.   Most days Mom & Dad are doing well just to keep up.   The Trautweins enjoyed having Janna home from Loyola in Chicago and are excited that they get to have Anna Johnson with us until March while she does an internship.

Stew and Kathie have had a rougher time lately. Stew just got released from the hospital after having a small stroke. He is recovering. Time will tell if any long term damage has been done. They both are in good spirits. Sandy has recovered from her 2nd shoulder surgery and is now recovering well from her recent hernia surgery. She is optimistic that she will recover quickly since she did so well with the shoulder surgeries. Roland Forbes reports that he is walking each day and dancing regularly.
