KDIGO Launches Multiple Major Documents for Public Review
If you have ever wanted to weigh in on a KDIGO Guideline or Controversies Conference, the first quarter of 2022 will offer an abundance of opportunities to do so. KDIGO has had an action-packed start to the year, with numerous documents currently available to the public for comment and several more on the way in the near future.

KDIGO greatly values ideas and suggestions on how to make guidelines and conferences more valuable to clinical practice and the care of patients. Please see below for documents currently available for public review.

Hepatitis C Guideline Update
The 2022 Clinical Practice Guideline Update for the Prevention, Diagnosis, Evaluation, and Treatment of Hepatitis C in CKD is available for public review until February 25
Please feel free to restrict your review and comments to areas of your expertise or to review the document in its entirety. Based on your input, KDIGO will prepare a final revised version for publication.


CKD Guideline Update Scope of Work

KDIGO is updating the 2012 Clinical Practice Guideline for the Evaluation and Management of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). The CKD Guideline Update Scope of Work is available for review until March 11. This document is designed to outline the topics the guideline intends to address and provide a brief rationale for each topic selection. The Scope also clarifies who the guideline is for, which patient populations are included, and provides a preliminary list of key outcomes of interest.
