Ringing in the New Year with Kearney Enrichment Council!

We have so much to look forward to in 2025.

A blizzard may have covered Kearney, but it hasn't slowed us down for a moment. With some of our favorite annual events on the horizon, we had no choice but to keep moving. We hope you're as excited as we are about our upcoming Wine & Chocolate Spectacular. Plus, our annual gala is right around the corner. Keep reading below for all of the details.

And don't forget: we're always looking for volunteers, financial support, donations, and sponsors so we can continue to provide our services to Kearney and Holt residents. Get in touch to help.

Our annual Wine & Chocolate Spectacular returns on Saturday, February 8. Join KEC and the greater Kearney community as we tour our downtown businesses and sample wine and chocolate from around the world. Get more details and purchase your tickets on our website.

Save the date for KEC's annual gala, which will be held Saturday, March 15. This year's theme is Hollywood Nights, and you're invited to dress to impress with Celebrity Red Carpet attire. Prepare for an unforgettable evening filled with glamour and entertainment — all for a great cause!

In case you missed it: Kearney Enrichment Council website domain has been sold without our knowledge. Your Council has taken all steps to redirect the website address to KearneyEnrichmentCouncil.org. All KEC email addresses have been changed to @KearneyEnrichmentCouncil.org.  This should be a smooth transition for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation.

Class E bus Driver needed

In the growth of Kearney we are seeing the need for an additional bus service, so KEC has purchased another bus - with handicap access.

This bus will be on the streets of Kearney soon, helping enrich the lives of all residents.

But, as you would guess, with expanded services comes a need for expanded staffing.

KEC and the Senior Center are seeking an additional bus driver to help fulfill the needs of our residents.

If you have some time to spare - have an E class license, and a willingness to share your time, we need you.

At the start, hours will not be regular, and we are always willing to work with you to get your hours and our clients to gel...
