KECO Engineered Coatings has designed a unique internal and external ceramic coating system for the most intense heat shielding barrier, withstanding temperatures up to 2000°F – the KECO XL2000™. KECO XL2000™ extreme temperature coating is engineered especially for turbos, high performance diesel and racing applications and is designed to be applied primarily to exhaust components. Its properties will remain color stable and stain resistant at exhaust gas temperatures up to 2000°F. Due to its unique ceramic nature, the coating also functions as a very effective thermal barrier, with reduced thermal radiation characteristics. The coating cures to a very hard, durable surface with excellent adhesion. The KECO XL2000™ coating provides:
Benefits of an Internal and External Coating Application KECO XL2000™ uses an extremely effective ceramic component to allow minimal transfer of heat to reduce the load on the cooling system. The benefits:
Testing Data: ADHESION: (Tape Test ASTM D 3359) 5B. PENCIL HARDNESS TEST: In excess of 8H. IMPACT TEST: (ASTM D 2794 2 LB weight) 48” on both sides of a coated plate and no delamination occurred. FLEXIBILITY/BENDING ADHESION: 180˚ no delamination. THERMAL TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE: Adhesion to over 2000˚F. SALT SPRAY RESISTANCE: (ASTM B117) 1000 hours. CORROSION TEST DATA: Good. THERMAL SHOCK: Pass. ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES: Conductive. CHEMICAL RESISTANCE: Good. |

April Dates to Note
🐇 Despite Good Friday occurring two days before Easter and commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, it is not a federal holiday and is considered a state holiday in just 12 states.
🐇 According to scholars, the Easter holiday was named after Eostre, an Anglo-Saxon goddess, and the arrival of spring. It’s believed that the egg and the hare are her religious symbols.
🐇 Contrary to popular belief that Christians initiated the Easter tradition of decorating and giving out Easter eggs, there is evidence to suggest that this age-old custom may have actually stemmed from Medieval Europe. Giving eggs symbolizes new life and rebirth in many cultures.
🐇 The tradition of the Easter bunny derived from Germany in the Middle Ages, specifically during the 16th century. It wasn't until the 1700s that the Easter Bunny was brought to the United States by Dutch settlers.
🐇 Last year, Americans spent an estimated $18.2 billion on Easter.
🐇 Roughly 90 million chocolate bunnies are consumed annually during this holiday in the United States alone.
🐇 First introduced in the 1930s, more than 16 million jelly beans are sold over Easter. To help you visualize this number, that is enough jelly beans to encircle the globe three times.
🐇 The Bournville factory in Birmingham, United Kingdom, which is responsible for the production of Cadbury Cream Eggs, makes an astonishing 500 million candy eggs each year. Stacked one on top of the other, 500 million Cadbury eggs would exceed Mount Everest in height.
🐇 When Peeps were first introduced back in 1953, it took a full 27 hours to make a single one, as each Peep was handmade with a pastry tube. Thanks to advances in technology, it now takes a mere six minutes.
🐇 Today, Americans consume approximately 1.5 million Peeps during the Easter season, earning them the title of most popular Easter candy, excluding chocolate. The Bethlehem, Pennsylvania factory that produces them makes roughly $5.5 million per day.
🐇 The first White House Easter Egg Roll took place in 1878 after President Rutherford B. Hayes was taking a walk and was approached by children, who were inquiring about a possible Easter Egg Roll. He immediately fell in love with the idea and it has been an annual event ever since.

Mind Bender| There are two airplanes heading straight toward each other. One plane is travelling at 15 kilometers per minute, and the other is travelling at 10 kilometers per minute. Assuming that the planes are exactly 1,000 kilometers apart, what distance will be between them one minute before they meet? |
