In February we recognize Career and Technical Education Month and Black History Month. In this newsletter, we feature a new clean energy career video and companion lesson, Clean Energy Careers in Hydropower. Later in February, we will be sharing a new lesson focused on Black leaders in energy.
Students will explore career opportunities in hydropower while following a career roadmap for a plant operator. They will discover skills needed to be a Hydro Plant Operator and how workers in the Hydropower Energy sector are helping Wisconsin to meet the 2050 Clean Energy Goal. Materials are housed in google and resources can be downloaded, edited, shared, and printed.
KEEP values the breadth of experiences that CTE programs provide students and knows that CTE classes play an integral role in developing the next generation of leaders and workers for the clean energy sector. Explore opportunities for students to build their leadership skills through the programs offered below.
