Good morning, Kristin,
Thank you to each of you who made time to participate in last Thursday’s principal meeting. It was inspiring to be together during such a historic moment—the announcement of our new pope—and to reflect on what his pontificate might hold.
What we do know is what he shared in his first words to the world. Pope Leo reminded us: “Christ goes before us. The world needs his light. Humanity needs him as the bridge that can lead us to God and his love. Help us, one and all, to build bridges through dialogue and encounter, joining together as one people, always at peace.”
Our Catholic schools are uniquely positioned to serve as bridge builders. In every classroom and community, we have the opportunity to lead with Christ’s light, fostering peace through dialogue, encounter, and belonging.
If you did not have an opportunity to provide feedback, we would appreciate if you take a few minutes to complete this survey. Additionally, here is the slide deck from Thursday with the findings from this year’s accreditations.

We are in the final days of Open Enrollment Season. Please be sure that all employees take time to go in and renew the benefits (including re-enrollment in HSAs/FSAs), even if they do not anticipate making any changes. Enrollment must be complete by Thursday, May 15, at 10pm. This last point — the time — is important to note as our Benefits Office has reported that there is considerable volume that has historically enrolled at the last hour.
With gratitude,
NICHOLAS FORD | Superintendent
Office for Catholic Schools | Archdiocese of Seattle
