NPR Politics Launches 2020 Election Resource
|
The NPR Politics team has launched a new series focused on tracking issues that play an important role in the upcoming 2020 elections. This new interactive series will cover policy debates and the differences between candidate platforms. So far, the series has focused on the Democrats running for president leading up to the first caucuses and primaries, but the team plans to expand to Republicans and other party candidates as they begin to take the national stage. Look for policy comparisons on immigration, health care, and climate change, with more issues to come.

KGOU wrapped up six days of on-air fundraising last week, with almost $134,000 pledged by listener-contributors so far in this new fiscal year. That includes donations from 270 new and rejoining donors, 450 renewing donors, and our 800+ sustaining members.
Thank you!
It's early in the fiscal year, and this is really just the start of the fall fundraising season. If you haven't yet made your contribution, there's no time like today.
|
Note: Our newest thank-you gift, the KGOU socks, are not in yet. We expect our shipment to arrive in mid- to late October and will work quickly to mail them to donors requesting them. Thank you for your patience.

She was one of a handful of pioneering female journalists who helped shape NPR's sound and culture, a 'founding mother' who joined the fledgling network in 1978. Tributes have been pouring in to the Public Editor's office, and her colleagues -- including the other 'mothers,' Linda Wertheimer, Nina Totenberg and Susan Stamberg -- have offered remembrances:
