Deadline next week for Dementia Capable Care Certification course
This course is a combination of both Dementia Capable Care Foundations and the Dementia Capable Care Behaviors Course. It will include the common framework and the stages of Dementia and will also cover the CPI Crisis Development model to empower Care Partners to prevent & de-escalate challenging behaviors. This training will help you to intervene when behavior escalates. You will know how to recognize, respond and calm the individual using non pharmacological approaches. Registration for this class includes both the Dementia Capable Care Foundations and Dementia Capable Care Behaviors workbooks and the exam to become a Certified Dementia Care Specialist. 

This class is being offered virtually and must be attended live. The class will use the Goto Meeting platform. Computer sound is required and video is highly recommended.
