Uncertainty over Senate provider tax stance fuels new lobbying push


McKnights Long-Term Care News (6/10, Marselas) reported, "Just a month ago, skilled nursing providers were instrumental in convincing House lawmakers to reconsider their standing on provider taxes, which help fund long-term care in 46 states."

Record Number of Long Term Care Providers Visit Capitol Hill to Advocate for Medicaid


A record number of long term and post-acute care professionals recently gathered in Washington, D.C. for the annual AHCA/NCAL Congressional Briefing. Taking place at a critical time as the Senate considers the budget reconciliation bill, more than 700 providers advocated for key issues impacting the profession, including protecting Medicaid.
