Dear Kids Health First (KHF) Providers and Practice Administrators,

We have some important updates about payor updates, new programs, and upcoming events. There's a lot of information, and we want to keep you informed. Please read through this email carefully and let us know if you have any questions.

Important Updates

December HR Compliance Reminders

As the year winds down, it’s time to complete a few important HR and administrative tasks to set your practice up for a smooth start to 2026. The Kids Health First HR Compliance Toolkit highlights two key December priorities:

Send Year-End Employee Reminders

Encourage all staff to verify their mailing address in your payroll system and any other platforms that issue year-end reports. This ensures W-2 forms and other documents arrive without delay.

Prepare for Annual KHF Benchmarking Surveys

KHF’s three benchmarking surveys open at the start of each year. These tools help practices understand financial trends, compensation benchmarks, and coding patterns across the metro Atlanta pediatric community. Consider gathering information now for:

  • Top Codes Survey – most frequently used CPT codes from the prior year
  • Salary Survey – pediatric salary and benefits insights
  • Practice Benchmarking Survey – overall financial picture of your practice

Share Your Holiday Spirit!

Looking for a fun way to bring some cheer to your practice this season? One practice shared a great idea —an exam room “door decorating contest” where teams create festive designs across clinical areas and front office spaces. Themes have included everything from Christmas and Hanukkah to winter scenes and creative character-themed doors.

We’d love to highlight your holiday spirit in upcoming KHF RoundUp editions! Send us photos of your practice’s decorations—doors, front desks, nurses’ stations, or any creative displays— and we will share via RoundUp this month!
