February PA Meeting Recap


A recording of the February Kids Health First Practice Administrator (PA) Meeting is now available for those who were unable to attend or would like to revisit the discussion.


The session, “Leading with Confidence: Best Practices in Employee Management,” focused on practical strategies for managing staff, addressing workplace challenges, and strengthening leadership within pediatric practices.

Practice administrators and leadership team members are encouraged to watch the recording and review the slides for helpful insights that can support day-to-day practice operations.

CME Opportunity: 2026 Pediatric Practice Essentials Virtual Course


A new educational opportunity is available from the AAP for pediatric providers and practice leaders interested in strengthening the business and operational side of outpatient pediatric care.


2026 Pediatric Practice Essentials: A Virtual Course in Navigating the Business of Outpatient Care offers CME and MOC credit. The course was developed to address a common gap in medical education—foundational business knowledge needed to successfully operate and manage outpatient pediatric practices.


Participants will learn how to:

  • Interpret practice financial data, manage budgets, and strengthen revenue cycle performance
  • Develop effective staffing models and human resources strategies
  • Improve coding, documentation, and payer relations while reducing claim denials
  • Support sustainable, patient-centered growth through risk management, regulatory compliance, and long-term financial planning
