KHF PA Meeting Recap: AI in Pediatric Practice – Contracts, Consent & Risk Management

Artificial intelligence continues to make its way into pediatric practices, bringing new opportunities—and new legal considerations. During the June Practice Administrators Meeting, Brent Reece, JD, Director of Risk Management and Claims Advocacy at Sterling Seacrest Pritchard, discussed several issues practices should evaluate before implementing AI technologies.

If you were unable to attend the meeting, view the meeting materials below or share with your practice members.

DOJ Increases Focus on Medicaid Fraud

A recent Foley & Lardner legal update highlights growing federal and state enforcement of Medicaid fraud. The DOJ's 2026 Health Care Fraud Takedown included a record number of Medicaid-related cases, reinforcing the importance of strong documentation, billing compliance, and adherence to state Medicaid requirements.
