Provider Relations Team Update

We would like to share an important update regarding KHF’s Provider Relations Team.

Kathryn Glass will be stepping away from her full-time Provider Relations role effective May 21, 2026. She will continue to support KHF’s credentialing program, including both initial credentialing and recredentialing of providers.

Kathryn’s assigned practices will be transitioned to Patsy and Glenda. Practice Administrators for these accounts will receive a separate email with their new Provider Relations representative’s name and contact information. In the meantime, Kathryn is actively working to resolve any outstanding items for her practices and is coordinating closely with Patsy and Glenda to ensure a smooth transition.

While we are sad to see Kathryn leave her practice-facing role, we are pleased to support her as she moves toward retirement.

HR Q&A Resource: Employee Notice Requirements in At-Will Employment

KHF practices may find the attached HR guidance from OneDigital helpful when navigating employee resignations and notice expectations.

This brief Q&A addresses a common employment question: whether employers can require at-will employees to provide two weeks’ notice before resigning. The resource outlines:

  • How at-will employment impacts notice requirements
  • Best practices for requesting notice as a professional courtesy
  • Considerations for maintaining smooth staff transitions
  • Potential language and expectations practices may wish to communicate to employees

While employers generally cannot require notice under at-will employment arrangements, the document provides practical guidance for encouraging professional transitions and minimizing operational disruption.
