Dear Kids Health First (KHF) Providers and Practice Administrators,

We have some important updates about payor updates, new programs, and upcoming events. There's a lot of information, and we want to keep you informed. Please read through this email carefully and let us know if you have any questions.

Important Updates

Strengthen Retention with Stay Interviews*

Wondering how to keep your best team members engaged? A stay interview is a simple, proactive conversation that helps you understand why employees stay—and what might cause them to leave—so you can address issues before they become turnover. Learn how to conduct effective stay interviews and build trust in your practice with expert insights from vxtra.

VFC Program Updates*

The latest Vaccines for Children (VFC) Newsletter includes key updates on holiday vaccine shipping schedules, the 2026–2027 flu pre-book, and annual VFC recertification requirements. Review the full newsletter here.

Updated Guidance on Georgia’s Chaperone Rule*

Sterling Seacrest Pritchard has shared an updated client brief outlining current Georgia Composite Medical Board requirements for the presence of chaperones during patient exams. Many claims arise from the absence of a chaperone during sensitive examinations, making it essential for practices to review and follow this guidance closely. Review the document for key rule details and best-practice recommendations for compliance and patient communication.

Thank You for Joining Our HIPAA Compliance Event*

Thank you to everyone who attended our recent in-person HIPAA Compliance and Cybersecurity Training with national expert Brian L. Tuttle. Your participation helped make the session a success as we explored new HITECH requirements, common compliance pitfalls, and real-world lessons from recent cases.

If you missed the event—or want to revisit key insights—you can watch the full recording here.

We encourage all practices to view the session to ensure your team stays up to date on the latest HIPAA and cybersecurity requirements.
