College Credit Plus - Information Session
Thursday, February 6
| |
|
Students/families interested in participating in or learning more about the College Credit Plus Program for the 2025-26 school year should plan on attending the annual College Credit Plus (CCP) Annual Information Session on Thursday, February 6, at 7 pm in the high school auditorium.
What is CCP?
CCP is a program that allows students in grades 7-12 to take college courses, earning college credits at no cost to parents. These college courses also count as high school credits for students.
Information Session:
The session will inform students of the requirements to participate, enrollment options, course eligibility, benefits and considerations for students, scheduling, important updates, required paperwork, and much more.
Important Next Step:
The most important thing is the "Intent to Participate" – a form acknowledging your interest in participating in the program. This is not a commitment. This form MUST be submitted by April 1st of every year for funding purposes Without this form, students will have to pay for the course, books, and any associated fees on their own.
The “Intent to Participate” form and all information from the Annual Information Session will be available to students on Monday, February 10 on the KHS CCP Website.
Returning Students:
Returning students MUST submit the "Intent to Participate" form every year to participate in the state-funded program. Please submit by April 1, 2025, to the Guidance Office.
