The Kiawah Island Golf Resort Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned intermediate distance competition featuring a .7-mile swim, 25-mile bike and 6-mile run. This year's race is this Sunday, Sept. 18 and athletes will be competing on the island's roads and leisure trails.

Members should use caution on roadways during the event and expect delays. All roads will be open with the exception of Sea Forest Drive at Night Heron Park. Click here to view specific roads affected, along with approximate times. 

Participants will be running on the leisure trail parallel to the Kiawah Island Parkway between Night Heron Park and the V-gate from approximately 8:55 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Kiawah Island Golf Resort asks that members avoid using the trail during this time.
