Dear Members,

As we approach the end of the year, we’re gearing up for one of our most exciting events: the Hero 5K on January 25th at Vista View Park! This superhero-themed event is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to make a difference in the lives of children at the agency, and we’re asking for your help to make it a success.

I also want to thank everyone who joined us for our Thanksgiving General Meeting. A special thank you to Daniele Rocha for hosting and to Linda Peterson, our fantastic game master, for always bringing fun and laughter whenever she is around. We appreciate you both, as well as everyone who contributed.

Looking ahead, we are going to start planning for our Bingo event, and we’ll need help with that as well! We’ll keep you posted with more details as we get closer, but rest assured, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Our next holiday General Meeting will be on December 19th at Yari Burke's home. I hope to see you there!

Truly embracing the season of giving, the Thanksgiving food drive was a massive success with an incredible 1,653 complete bags and $26k collected! Thank you to everyone who helped secure food and funds for those in need. Thank you also to Isabella and Annamaria Rojas for hosting the East campus birthday party on the 24th and helping to make it, as usual, such a wonderful experience for the kids! Moving into December, the KHK holiday party is coming up quickly! Come join us on the 14th to welcome the children into the holiday season and even see a special guest… The Grinch! Also soon is the Hero 5k, and there are many ways to get involved: car tagging, recruiting friends, and, of course, registering yourself! We look forward to getting together for all of these fantastic events over the upcoming month. Happy holidays!
