Hello KID Auxiliary Members!

As the holidays approach, we’re entering a very exciting season of events and giving back. First, I’m thrilled to remind everyone that our Kids in Distress agency’s signature event, Elevate, is just around the corner on November 16th.This year’s theme, “The Greatest Showman,” promises a spectacular evening filled with live entertainment, dancing, and an unforgettable auction—all set to a dazzling circus theme. Tickets are still available, and as a special offer, the agency is giving Auxiliary Members $50 off each ticket with the code KIDAUX! For more information regarding ELEVATE, click here.

We’re also deep into our Thanksgiving food drive and incredibly grateful for all the support we’ve received. This year, Exquisite Catering has generously donated another 100 completed bags—we are so thankful of their support! If you are interested in contributing, please contact Cris Bomfim , Terri Molina, or Daniele Rocha to drop them off at their home or at St. Paul’s on November 17th.



Looking ahead, our Hero 5K is scheduled for January 25th. we’re excited to introduce a new sponsorship package tailored for small companies. It includes a tent at the event and a variety of marketing opportunities. If you or someone you know is interested in sponsoring, please email me for more information! (Click on my name below).

Wrapping up the spooky season and diving into one of gratitude, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the over 30 volunteers who came out to help with the KHK Halloween party! Your time, energy, and enthusiasm helped to make the celebration a huge success and bring so much joy (and candy!) to all of our kids. Now, as we move toward the season of giving, we want to remind everyone that complete bags for the Thanksgiving food drive can still be dropped off at St. Paul’s church on November 17! Any contributions make a huge difference in ensuring those in need have a warm, hearty meal this Thanksgiving. Thank you all for your kindness and continued support!

We hosted our annual American Heritage Food Drive. Even though our drive coincided with the SAT exam, we collected 334 complete meal bags and $6,465 in gift cards! Shout out to all AHS families and volunteers for such amazing giving back to the families in need! With your help we can make this Thanksgiving KIDpossible!🫶
