Now more than ever, love and friendship have the power to positively impact the world. There are many ways to show kindness, friendship, and love that cost nothing - like simply listening and sharing what we value most about those around us. Whether it is in person or virtually, expressing that we appreciate the moments we get to share with those we care about can be meaningful and edifying.
Appreciating the moment is part of being mindful. Here is a wonderful resource that explains mindfulness and how it relates to children: Kids Health: Mindfulness. Additionally, here are some great prompts that encourage mindfulness that you can use when sharing your story on PBS American Portrait. And this beautiful submission by Kristal H.speaks volumes about love and acceptance.
We are all sharing this world together. We are thankful for what you do to make this world a more caring place. Keep doing what you do.
