Dear Friends,

This month, we celebrate Native American Heritage Month and Veterans’ Day. We thank the heroes for bravery, sacrifice, wisdom, and kindness. We honor the historical and continued contributions of the people of the first nations of our country and our military veterans. We appreciate you all more than words can express.

In the elementary, middle, and high school sections of this newsletter, you will find resources to learn more about Native American heritages, veterans, and military families. Throughout the year, and especially during this month, we reflect on the many things there are to be grateful for. Friends, please know how important you are and how thankful we are for you.

This month, we are offering virtual teacher and family sessions. Details about upcoming sessions, along with registration links, are at the bottom of this newsletter, in the section labeled Professional Development: Upcoming Trainings, and also on KLRN’s Events Page at klrn.org/events. Thank you to the San Antonio Medical Foundation and Firstmark Credit Union for supporting educator training sessions.

Please reach out to us at any time. You are a special part of our community. Thank you for what you do.

With Appreciation,

KLRN Education Team
