Wales/Explore Campus Celebrates KINDNESS!!

Help Color the World with Kindness by purchasing a KM Stands for Kindness Matters t-shirt. All proceeds will go directly towards the new KM Explore/ Wales Elementary Playground debuting September 2023! Students and Staff are encouraged to wear their Kindness shirts every Friday through the month of February and at our ALL CAMPUS assembly on February 24th.

Winter Concert

Each year, we invite the 8th grade band to perform with Wind Symphony at the high school. The concert featured Jazz I, Wind Symphony, and the KMMS 8th Grade Band.

Valentine's Day is Just Around the Corner...

Plan Your Night Out!

KM Global is hosting a parents' night out on February 10th at Wales Elementary. This fun evening will allow kids to enjoy an eventful night of crafts, games, snacks, and activities with their friends for a small fee. Meanwhile, parents can share a relaxing evening to themselves.

All proceeds will go toward KM Global's school trip to Lima, Peru, bringing costs down so more students can afford to participate.That is a win-win-win!

Beat the January blues with a night of laughter at "Saturday Night Lasers," the KMHS original sketch comedy show! Inspired by the well-known late-night television show Saturday Night Live, KM Drama Club takes the stage on January 28 @ 7 pm with a great show for the whole KM Community. A fully student-written and produced show, organized by KM Drama Club Officer, Adeline Cramer as part of her senior portfolio project. Tickets are $5 and available at the door.

MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWS

KMMS GLOW DANCE- Tonight (1/20) 6-8 pm

Students: Bring in a white t-shirt to the dance student senate will provide materials to decorate it in glow-in-the-dark paint. Bring your ID and exact change ($5) to get you into the dance quicker.

Parents: Send students with $1 or $5 bills to make it easier to make change

KMMS PTO is excited to team up with Student Senate and KMMS staff Ms. Passaglia and Mr. Martin for the first KMMS dance of the 22-23. The theme of this dance is "GLOW" which means students will be glowing in the dark while they dance under blacklights and wear various colored glow in the dark necklaces and bracelets. There will be other stations set up when the students need a break from dancing, and as usual, there will be pizza, snacks, baked goods and beverages to purchase in concessions. There were over 400 students at the last dance and we are looking forward to even more for this dance! What a fun way to bring the entire KMMS student community together!

Area senior citizens are invited to join us for lunch and a program the 2nd Friday of each month at 11:15 at the Brandybrook Community Center. Calling 262-968-6273 x4641 for reservations!

Discover the Magic of Spanish:

In this eight-week adventure, ¡Vamos con la Música! (Let’s go with Music!), students learn music and school related vocabulary along with useful conversational Spanish taught using dynamic songs and games. Class is held Thursdays after school beginning February 16.

Live Virtual Spanish Classes:

There are many opportunities for youth and adult in virtual Spanish classes this winter session.Youth classes are held on Wednesdays and focus on music and school related vocabulary along with useful conversational Spanish. Our adult programs are held various days of the week at the beginner and intermediate level.

Adult Aerobics class:

New year, new you! Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the KM Middle School for adult aerobics classes, all levels welcome.

KM Wrestling Club

Join us Mondays/Wednesdays at the KM High School Wrestling Room. Grades from K-3 meet from 5:15-6pm. Grades 4-8 meet from 6-8pm. Sign up today to work with high school coaches and players in this great winter sport.

Girls Youth Lacrosse

Spring lacrosse needs additional girls grades 1-4.The indoor winter skills program is designed to continue building the fundamentals and help kids hit the ground running. They are led by seasoned KM coaches. Players are encouraged to attend regardless of experience level.

Dance Team Clinic

Meet and mingle with the dance team! Experience what it’s like to attend a practice, work on a routine and perform a hip-hop routine at a Varsity Basketball game! Boys and girls K5-8 are welcome! Clinics are at Wales Elementary
