KMMS Service Project


The Kettle Moraine 8th grade girl's basketball team is doing a service project and they are asking for donations to the Hope Center in Waukesha. The missions of the Hope Center is to try to end poverty in the city. Donations can consist of towels, twin sized bed sheets, comforters, blankets, pillows, nonperishable foods, kitchen utensils, plastic serving bowls, hair care, and hygiene products. There will be bins in the front lobby at the Middle School.

Kettle Moraine Sponsorship Event

Please join us in promoting your business while becoming an integral partner of our amazing facilities upgrade! We will be hosting a Sponsorship Event for area business leaders on February 7th from 5-6:30 at Kettle Moraine High School. There will be a brief presentation on advertising opportunities followed by a discussion with coaches and community leaders. During which, heavy appetizers and beverages will be served. We also encourage you to stay for the Varsity Girls Basketball Game where we will be hosting a sponsorship section. Tickets and snacks will be provided.

Scott Bruening contributed to the development of this modern cabinet making book which was recently published by the WCA. Scott initiated our partnership with the WCA and was granted certification to provide students with industry-level credentials. Scott has helped KM build an outstanding program and this extends to our community partners!

Plan Your Night Out!


KM Global is hosting a parents' night out on February 10th at Wales Elementary. This fun evening will allow kids to enjoy an eventful night of crafts, games, snacks, and activities with their friends for a small fee. Meanwhile, parents can share a relaxing evening to themselves.

All proceeds will help fund the school they will be volunteering at during their Peru trip, providing things like school supplies, water filters, etc.

Beat the January blues with a night of laughter at "Saturday Night Lasers," the KMHS original sketch comedy show! Inspired by the well-known late-night television show Saturday Night Live, KM Drama Club takes the stage on January 28 @ 7 pm with a great show for the whole KM Community. A fully student-written and produced show, organized by KM Drama Club Officer, Adeline Cramer as part of her senior portfolio project. Tickets are $5 and available at the door.

ELEMENTARY NEWS

Cushing students used their voices to submitted a request to improve the usability of the playground. In response, the maintenance team put new/additional hay down on the current mud/hay that is disintegrating and installed caution tape around the muddy area to block it off until grass seed can be planted in spring.

Area senior citizens are invited to join us for lunch and a program the 2nd Friday of each month at 11:15 at the Brandybrook Community Center. Calling 262-968-6273 x4641 for reservations!

Discover the Magic of Spanish:

In this eight-week adventure, ¡Vamos con la Música! (Let’s go with Music!), students learn music and school related vocabulary along with useful conversational Spanish taught using dynamic songs and games. Class is held Thursdays after school beginning February 16.

There are many opportunities for youth and adult in virtual Spanish classes this winter session.Youth classes are held on Wednesdays and focus on music and school related vocabulary along with useful conversational Spanish. Our adult programs are held various days of the week at the beginner and intermediate level.

New year, new you! Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the KM Middle School for adult aerobics classes, all levels welcome.

KM Wrestling Club

Join us Mondays/Wednesdays at the KM High School Wrestling Room. Grades from K-3 meet from 5:15-6pm. Grades 4-8 meet from 6-8pm. Sign up today to work with high school coaches and players in this great winter sport.

Girls Youth Lacrosse

Spring lacrosse needs additional girls grades 1-4.The indoor winter skills program is designed to continue building the fundamentals and help kids hit the ground running. They are led by seasoned KM coaches. Players are encouraged to attend regardless of experience level.

Meet and mingle with the dance team! Experience what it’s like to attend a practice, work on a routine and perform a hip-hop routine at a Varsity Basketball game! Boys and girls K5-8 are welcome! Clinics are at Wales Elementary
