MIDTERMS: MARCH 22-25 (Distance Learning Days)
During midterm week in KM Global, students will be presenting their inquiry progress to date along with next steps. Due to the extensive nature of these meetings, KM Global will be moving to a distance learning format for midterm week in order to minimize movement of students and to allow staff to conduct these individual student meetings.

The modified schedule for this week will include mainly asynchronous distance learning, off-campus. This is a great time for students to focus on their inquiry work and to get caught up or ahead on their goals. Teachers may request student attendance at a virtual meeting to get extra support to meet learning goals. Additional information will be sent out to explain the expectations for the week and will be shared with students.
2021 World Affairs Seminar
Are you interested in building leadership skills, collaborating with your peers, and becoming one of the leaders who will shape the world of tomorrow? Plan to attend the World Affairs Seminar this summer at Carroll University from June 19 -25, 2021. The format has not been determined, however the options may include staying on campus or meeting virtually. You will collaborate with students from over 30 countries, and learn about different social, economic, political, and cultural perspectives around the theme Cities: Urban Life in a Changing World. Students can apply for a scholarship from the Lake Country Rotary Club to cover the entire cost of the week seminar. Students must submit completed applications with a short essay stating how WAS will help you achieve your life goal of serving others. Applications are due on or before March 19th. See Sra. Weber for an application or more information.

HYGIENE DRIVE

KM Interact and KM Global are doing a hygiene drive until March 13th. Items collected will be donated to St. Ben’s Homeless Shelter in Milwaukee. Please donate unopened: lotion, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, hairbrushes, combs, soap, hand sanitizer, wipes, or any other hygiene products you may have! Those hotel soaps and shampoos that you have in your linen closet piling up are perfect. Donation boxes can be found in Global or donations can be dropped off at the front office. Please see Mrs. Weber in Global if you have any questions.
