KMHS Students Are Building Opportunities

Head to the MBA Home & Remodeling Show at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Expo Center this weekend and enter to win a playhouse built by KMHS students under the guidance of a local builder! Raffle tickets are $5 and can be placed in any home's box. All proceeds go toward scholarships for students pursuing careers in the building trades.

Beat the January blues with a night of laughter at "Saturday Night Lasers," the KMHS original sketch comedy show! Inspired by the well-known late-night television show Saturday Night Live, KM Drama Club takes the stage on January 28 @ 7 pm with a great show for the whole KM Community. A fully student-written and produced show, organized by KM Drama Club Officer, Adeline Cramer as part of her senior portfolio project. Tickets are $5 and available at the door.

Football State Champion Gear

Back by popular demand... order KMHS Football State Championship Gear! Ordering closes on Monday, January 31st. All sales are final. No changes, returns, or exchanges are allowed on customer spirit wear orders. Orders are expected to be ready by February 17th.

KMMS Awards

This semester, KMMS partnered with the Lake Country Optimist Club to offer a new award opportunity to our students: the True Grit Award. This award is given to a student displaying exemplary resilience, perseverance, and optimism while also modeling the respectful and responsible behavior associated with being a true Laser! We are pleased to announce that 8th grader Jacee Willgrubs has been selected as this year's winner. Jacee is well-deserving of this award due to her remarkable personal growth and belief in herself this year. Keep up the great work, Jacee!

8th grader Grace Drinkwine is our nominee for the 2023 Carson Scholars Award. This award recognizes and rewards outstanding students in the United States who exemplify academic excellence and humanitarian qualities. Grace is being honored for her leadership inside and outside of our school, including serving as a WEB leader at KMMS and as a reading and writing assistant at Dousman Elementary. Grace also displays tremendous academic achievement and citizenship, providing an excellent example for students younger than her. Way to go, Grace!

4th and 5th graders participate in an annual Math 24 tournament that begins at the school level and then the winners in each building move on to the Kettle Moraine Middle School where they compete against the other winners in the district. Golden Lasers

Area senior citizens are invited to join us for lunch and a program the 2nd Friday of each month at 11:15 at the Brandybrook Community Center. Calling 262-968-6273 x4641 for reservations!

Discover the Magic of Spanish:

In this eight-week adventure, ¡Vamos con la Música! (Let’s go with Music!), students learn music and school related vocabulary along with useful conversational Spanish taught using dynamic songs and games. Class is held Thursdays after school beginning February 16.

Live Virtual Spanish Classes:

There are many opportunities for youth and adult in virtual Spanish classes this winter session.Youth classes are held on Wednesdays and focus on music and school related vocabulary along with useful conversational Spanish. Our adult programs are held various days of the week at the beginner and intermediate level.

Adult Aerobics class:

New year, new you! Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the KM Middle School for adult aerobics classes, all levels welcome.

KM Wrestling Club

Join us Mondays/Wednesdays at the KM High School Wrestling Room. Grades from K-3 meet from 5:15-6pm. Grades 4-8 meet from 6-8pm. Sign up today to work with high school coaches and players in this great winter sport.

Girls Youth Lacrosse

Spring lacrosse needs additional girls grades 1-4.The indoor winter skills program is designed to continue building the fundamentals and help kids hit the ground running. They are led by seasoned KM coaches. Players are encouraged to attend regardless of experience level.

Dance Team Clinic

Meet and mingle with the dance team! Experience what it’s like to attend a practice, work on a routine and perform a hip-hop routine at a Varsity Basketball game! Boys and girls K5-8 are welcome! Clinics are at Wales Elementary
