The KM Rock Climbing Team defended their title on Saturday by winning their second straight state championship! It was a true team effort with 44 total participants climbing. The team climbed well, supported each other throughout the year, and had tons of fun along the way. With a positive team attitude, this amazing group of climbers won 4 of the six competitions this year! Great job!

The JV Girls Soccer team really battled hard this week. On Tuesday they played Oconomowoc where Ali Vanderveldt had a one on one with the keeper and scored in the second minute of the game. The Lasers had a dominant second half with great saves from goalie Ava Maciasowicz and strong defense from Emily Bergman. The offense including Sophie Lyman found their groove and had several close chances on goal. Despite Emily Bergman‘s goal saving tackle in the final two minutes of the game, the Lasers fell to Ocon 1-3

Last night the Lasers headed to Whitefish Bay to face off against the Dukes losing 0-3. Midfielders Lola Bond and Jami Kurth had stellar performances controlling the field and setting up great runs for forwards Saoirse Beltran Iorio and Kiera Geelehler. Although the Dukes were able to sneak in three goals, KM defensive play by Ash Stoffel, Bethany Provan, Emma Mathison and Jillian Baenan was solid and dominated the majority of the game. Nice job Lasers!!
