Masha D. Named National Merit Finalist
Congratulations to Kettle Moraine High School senior Masha D. for being named a finalist in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Competition.

Masha is in elite company! This fall, she was named as one of 16,000 semifinalists representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors and included the highest scoring entrants in each state. To become a finalist and to be considered for a National Merit scholarship, each student was required to present an outstanding academic record throughout high school, be endorsed by their high school, and earn college entrance test scores that confirmed the student’s earlier performance on the qualifying SAT.
Learning Environment Changes For Term Four Will Be Shared Via IC March 5
A link to a change request form will be shared via Infinite Campus March 5 and requests will be open through March 14.

Due to state testing during term four, we do not have the flexibility we've had in previous terms.

If you plan to make a change, please consider the impact a potential quarantine might have on your family in the coming quarter/term and select the correct environment. Due to staffing needs and configurations:

  1. Changes at the elementary level will likely cause reassignment of your child’s teacher and class configuration, regardless of your family's decision. In addition, changes in either direction will not be honored after March 14.
  2. KM will not be able to honor changes at the middle and high school levels from distance learning to face-to-face learning after March 14.
  3. At the high-school level, selecting distance learning may alter your student’s term-four course selections.

NOTE: This change request form is only necessary if you want to change your environment for the fourth quarter/term.
Please join the Kettle Moraine School District for a community forum with new superintendent Stephen Plum. A limited amount of safe and physically-distanced seating will be available at KMHS. We strongly encourage community members to join online.

Prior to the forum, we encourage the community to submit a question to Mr. Plum about his vision for the district!

Cushing 4K Students Issue Kindness Tickets To Each Other
Our 4K friends at Cushing Elementary have been learning about community helpers and have a “police station” in their room. They are issuing kindness tickets to each other and also wrote notes of appreciation to the Delafield Police Department. On Thursday, March 4, they were able to deliver them to Captain Hagen, who came over for a visit!
