Next week is Holiday Spirit Week at KMMS!

Monday is Holiday Hair & Hat Day! Show your festive and fun side by sporting a Santa hat, Elf hat, Reindeer Antlers, Red and Green Tinsel pigtails or whatever makes you Merry & Bright!

Tuesday is Winter PJ Day! Bust out that Holiday onesie or flannel pajamas with slippers and come to school all kinds of cozy. To spice up hump day, we have Holiday Accessory Day!

Wednesday is Holiday Accessory Day! The day to wear those Holiday socks, Holiday jewelry, Holiday T shirts, or wear those Santa hats again!

Thursday is Holiday Movie Day! Dress up as one of your favorite holiday movie characters! Or, just sport gear from your favorite movie or show!

Friday, December 18th, is National Ugly Sweater Day! Rock your ugliest holiday sweater and then upload a picture of you wearing your sweater to the Yearbook photos link. We hope to post the best (or worst!) sweaters on the KMMS website and Facebook page.

Opportunity for Holiday Giving

The middle school and PTO are once again collaborating to bring some extra joy to some families again this holiday season. Please consider donating a gift. The deadline to have the items delivered to the school is December 14th

Learning Environment Change Request Period Begins January 4

A link to a change request form will be shared via Infinite Campus Jan. 4 and requests will be open through Jan. 10.

If you plan to make a change, please consider the impact a potential quarantine might have on your family in the coming quarter/term and select the correct environment. Due to staffing needs and configurations:

Changes at the elementary level will likely cause reassignment of your child’s teacher and class configuration, regardless of your family's decision. In addition, changes in either direction will not be honored after Jan. 10.
KM will not be able to honor changes at the middle and high school levels from distance learning to face-to-face learning after Jan. 10.
At the high school level, selecting distance learning may alter your student’s term three course selections.
The final opportunity to request a change will occur before the start of term four, which begins on March 30.

NOTE: This change request form is only necessary if you want to change your environment for the third quarter/term, which begins Jan. 26.
