Important Transportation Tips
for Hwy 18 Closure

KMMS Building Open 3-6pm

Monday 8/29 and Tuesday 8/30

If you missed our open house on Wednesday evening, we do have additional times that you can come and walk around the building, stop in the office for a padlock (new students & 6th grade), and decorate/load your locker with school supplies.

Teaching staff will not be present during these evenings.

Traffic Protocols for Afternoon Pickups

No Queuing/Waiting On Ottawa

For the safety of our students, to make after-school pickups more efficient and to alleviate congestion on Ottawa Avenue, these rules will continue to be implemented for the upcoming school year.

- Our parking lot/pick up line will not open until 5 minutes after school is over

- Per Summit PD, no queuing/waiting of cars on Ottawa Ave.

- The 15 MPH speed limit will be strictly enforced

Combination Locks

Last year, KMMS students were provided with a combination lock to use on their locker. This year, returning students will use that same lock. Students have been assigned a new locker and should bring their locks back to school. If returning students need a combination reminder, they may talk to our front office staff. Students who have lost their lock will be able to order a new one at the office.

NEW STUDENTS

If you have not picked up your padlock yet, you may come to the front office to pick up a padlock before September 1. If you are unable to pick it up before school begins, a house teacher will give out a lock upon arrival on the first day. The padlock will be used during all middle school years.

Please take our KMMS PTO Survey

It was thrilling to see familiar and new faces at the Middle School Open House! Our students are about to kick off the school year. We have a PTO Board with several new representatives and of course a new leader at the helm in Mr. Kitzerow. This is a perfect time for us to reflect on where we have been as a Parent / Teacher Organization and envision where our future could lead. We can't do that without PARENT, TEACHER AND STUDENT input. Please click on the this link to answer just two important questions that will help us build our vision statement and on-target initiatives for our shared community.

Sentry Receipts

Please collect your Albrect's Sentry receipts to support Kettle Moraine Middle School PTO!

Please send in your Albrect's Sentry receipts throughout the rest of the year. Albrect's Sentry will give back 1% of receipt totals collected. Receipts can be dropped off in the front office in the designated collection container. This is a quick and easy way to support KMMS PTO. Thank you to Albrect's Sentry for supporting our community!
