Hello KMMS families,

I hope your students enjoyed yesterday’s snow day. Please note that we will make up last night’s Parent-Teacher Conferences next Thursday, February 23. The time you were slated to meet last night will automatically carry over to next Thursday, unless you go in and hit the “reschedule” button to change it. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Today’s “How are you treating other people” announcement for students focused on the treatment of school staff. Bus drivers, kitchen staff, custodial staff, and teachers have daily interactions with our students. Today’s message was a reminder to students to follow bus rules, use appropriate language, be patient and use manners in the lunch line, clean up after themselves, and communicate and work with teachers in a productive manner. Working in public education is not easy, but we love it. Thank you for taking time to check in with your students about their treatment of school staff.

Have a great weekend,

Matt Kitzerow
