Interim Report Cards Are Posted to IC
Teachers have posted interim grades through the second term to Infinite Campus. Please take a look, if you have not done so.
All of our teachers have posted interim grades through the end of Term 2. Check out your student's interim grade by logging into Infinite Campus! Look for the Term 2 Progress Grade.
An IP (instead of a letter grade) stands for “In Progress”, which means something is missing, below grade level, or not enough work has been completed to determine a letter grade. You will find a comment explaining the IP immediately below.
You also have the option to print a grade report. Go to Documents on the left side. The KMMS Report Card is a choice in the middle of the screen.
A reminder that middle school grades are continually updated until the completion of the course. For most of our classes, that means grades are final at the end of the school year in June. Also, not all of your child’s teachers utilize the same learning management platform for tracking progress. More progress details may be available in other places (Canvas, MyLC or Summit).
If you have questions, please reach out to your child’s teachers, whose emails are available in Infinite Campus (click on the course name in blue on the grade list). We are also here in the KMMS office to help you any time.

Registration Information for KMHS
Students who will be attending Kettle Moraine High School, please mark your calendar for the KMHS Course Information Night on Monday, February 7, 2022 from 5:30-7:30pm. On this evening you will learn about course opportunities and the registration process. KMHS teachers will be available to answer questions about their content area course offerings. Course Information Night is not a required event but rather another way to offer support throughout this process.

Sentry Receipts
Please collect your Albrect's Sentry receipts to support Kettle Moraine Middle School PTO!
Please send in your Albrect's Sentry receipts throughout the rest of the year. Albrect's Sentry will give back 1% of receipt totals collected. Receipts can be dropped off in the front office in the designated collection container. This is a quick and easy way to support KMMS PTO. Thank you to Albrect's Sentry for supporting our community!

Snow Days will become Virtual Days
Here at KMMS we will not close in the case of extreme weather conditions. We will instead have our classes occur virtually through Google Meets. Families will be notified of these instances via district communication. Our middle school team has assembled this plan for those days.

Hunter Safety
Students must be 10 years of age to attend this course. Many states require this certificate for out of state hunting for all children and adults. Students under the age of 16 must have an adult parent attend all sessions with the student. Class is held the week of Feb 28, 2022. February 15, 2022 5:30-7p at Wales Elementary
Please join us for a try it clinic before the Spring season starts. Learn the game rules, positions, and the fundamentals of passing and catching. This free clinic is for new players. Coaches will introduce the game in a fun & interactive manner. Equipment is provided for use during the clinic. Please have your child wear athletic clothing, sneakers, and bring a water bottle & mouth guard. Signed waiver will be provided at sign in. Camp Invention
Summer 2022 Camp Invention will be offered at KM. Students in grades 1-6 will enjoy a week of STEM fun, building and creating. During this dynamic, high-energy program, young innovators will:
• Dive into cutting-edge ocean research as they adopt their own robotic fish, design and
patent aquatic plants, and take their fish friend home in a mini tank.
• Discover real space exploration technology when they create Spacepacks and AstroArm devices, mine an asteroid and observe erupting ice volcanoes.
• Combine science and art to build their own robotic artist, engage in design thinking,
make spin art and learn how inventions can change the way people create.
• Experiment with the fun of physics, engineering and gaming as they design, build and
test their own mega marble arcades.
