Hello KMMS families,

I want to thank all of our parents who have been engaged in the conversation about our students and their cell phones. I have received a lot of positive responses about the article I shared in early February that provides the basics on Snapchat. Here is a link to that article again - https://www.commonsensemedia.org/articles/parents-ultimate-guide-to-snapchat.

I want to highlight another opportunity for our parents that is coming up on Monday, March 13th, from 6:00-7:30 PM at KMHS. The event is called “Parenting in the Digital World” and it is put on by the GALS Institute. This link has more information and can be used to register for this free event - https://tinyurl.com/2hjj8wxe.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - parenting in this age and helping your children navigate safe and appropriate use of their cell phones can’t be easy. We really appreciate all that you do.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Matt Kitzerow

Kettle Moraine Middle School

Class of 2027

T-shirts for 8th Graders

Every year KMMS PTO has provided each 8th grade student with a traditional class t-shirt. We want to keep this tradition going, but we need your help!

We are seeking partnerships with local businesses and/or families to help sponsor part of the cost for these shirts. The sponsor name or business logo will be displayed on the back of the shirt below the student names These T-shirts are worn by the students on the annual 8th grade bowling trip and beyond.

Note that the proceeds raised from these sponsorship donations will help fund 8th grade end of the year activities.

If you know of, or are affiliated with, a business that would be interested in sponsoring shirts for our students, or, if your family would like to make a donation, please email us at carriefosspto@gmail

KMMS PTO thanks you in advance for considering a sponsorship in this annual 8th grade tradition!

Leftovers?

We still have a few crockpots and a ceramic bowl from the Teacher Appreciation Dinner last week. The items will be in the office for pick up at your earliest convenience.
