KMMS Conferences are 9/30 & 10/1!

We welcome you to join us at our parent teacher conferences on Thursday, September 30 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday, October 1 from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM.

These will be offered both in person at our school and virtually through Google Meet. Conferences are a great opportunity to connect, answer any questions, and co-create goals for the year. Due to meetings and other conflicts, some teachers may have different times available than the Thursday and Friday listed above.

One of our goals this year is to continue to support families in the use of our digital tools.
Prior to conferences we ask that your family engage in a “Digital Tool Scavenger Hunt” in an effort to build understanding around how to:
access what needs to be done, review feedback from teachers and access progress/grades.

If you have not received an email with conference information from your student's teacher, please reach out via email to those teachers with whom you would like to conference.
Homecoming Festivities 9/24

KM Music Parents Association Homecoming Chili/Mac 'N Cheese Dinner from 4-7 p.m. at Kettle Moraine High School

Join us for a delicious meal ($7 regular/$10 large) or enjoy some kettle corn ($5) at the parade. 100% of funds raised from the event are returned to music programs in KMSD.

Middle School students planning on attending the Homecoming Football Game TONIGHT must be accompanied by an adult during the game.

Thank you for your support. Go Lasers!
UPDATE: Potential Close Contact Notifications

Effective this week, should a student be in a classroom with another student that has tested positive for COVID, all parent(s)/guardian(s) of students in the class will receive an email from the health room notifying them of the potential close contact and relevant next steps.

Previously, we have been notifying only students identified by their teachers, health room employees, or administrators as close contacts. The adjustment to notify the entire classroom is a more efficient and complete way of getting information to those who may have potentially been in close contact.

Please contact the district nurse, [email protected], or the middle school health room @ [email protected] with any questions related to this change.

Parent Teacher Conferences are coming up Thursday, September 30. Please help us provide dinner for our Middle School teachers this evening by signing up using this link.

Ordering School Pictures

Parents of students who had their photos taken earlier this month will be receiving an email with order information within the next few days. If you do not receive an email from Empire Photography by the end of next week, please check your spam box or email Empire at [email protected]
Hot Lunch @ KMMS

Parents, please take a look at your Infinite Campus food tab with your student(s). Though the federal government is providing nutrition-approved meals (with a fruit, vegetable and milk) for school age students, our cafeteria is seeing an uptick in students filling their trays with lots of extras that are not covered by the government funding. As long as there is money in your student's account, they will be allowed to purchase additional items. Student accounts will be charged for food and drink items that go beyond the qualified student meal each day. If you do not want your student to purchase items for which they will be charged, please contact Nutrition Services [email protected].
