For the third year in a row, Lexington Catholic has been voted the Best High School in Lexington by readers of kentucky.com. To everyone who took the time to vote, thank you. We are proud of this, and we are more proud of the students who make it true every day. Once a Knight, always a Knight.

STUDENTS RETURN TO CAMPUS

We had an incredible first day of classes yesterday as students reunited with friends, met new classmates, and began their journey into a year full of learning, growth, and opportunity. We’re looking forward to an amazing 2026–2027 school year and can’t wait to see all that our students will accomplish!

CLASS OF 2030 INDUCTION CEREMONY

We hosted our annual freshman Induction Ceremony on Tuesday, alongside family and friends, in Bueter Gym. The event commenced with an opening welcome and prayer by Father Ben Horn. Students were greeted with a special message from Principal George and Dr. Katherine Gartland, and were then presented with prayer cards featuring our school prayer, handed out by Superintendent Miranda Chaplin and Principal George.

Furthermore, students had the opportunity to participate in campus tours, receive their class schedule, meet their teachers, and enjoy lunch together.

KNIGHT TV IS OFFICIALLY ON THE AIR

Our brand new student led broadcast program premiered yesterday under the direction of Dr. Valentino. Knight TV will run as an after school club producing the morning announcements you see every day in the classroom. This is more than a club. Students step into real production roles and learn the skills that power the industry, from directing and camera operation to audio, lighting, script writing, editing and on air hosting. Every broadcast is built by them, start to finish.

A huge thank you to our maintenance staff, who worked tirelessly all summer to build the set. None of this happens without them.

Join us for the Parent Social from 5:15–6:00 PM, followed by the parent meeting at 6:00 PM, where you'll walk through your student's schedule.

Visit all of your child's classes and your student earns an out-of-uniform pass to use on the day of their choosing.

One parent per family is strongly encouraged to attend. Knights Kastle will be open for shopping.

Thank you to Forcht Bank for sponsoring the Parent Social — new and returning families welcome!

Thank you for the incredible support you've shown our teachers. We wanted a way to support them, in addition to the supplies they already receive from the school. Every item purchased goes straight into a classroom, helping to enhance and support the classroom experience, and into the daily work of making a Lexington Catholic education what it is.
