GIRLS' AND BOYS'

CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS TAKE HOME STATE TITLES

Our KHSAA 2A Cross Country State Champions. Both of them! Congratulations to our girls' and boys' teams for bringing home the state titles this past weekend. That makes six consecutive state championships for the girls and back-to-back state titles for the boys!

What an incredible accomplishment for our Knights!

STUDENTS HONOR DIA DE LOS MUERTOS

In honor of Día de los Muertos, students in Señora Diez’s Spanish classes created mini ofrendas to remember loved ones who have passed. Students in Mr. Brown’s class added their ofrendas alongside Señor Aragon’s Day of the Dead altar, filling the space with photos, marigolds, and memories. To close out the day, Spanish Club met to make decorative calavera (skull) crafts

KNIGHT FOR A DAY RECAP

Over 200 eighth-grade students joined us for Knight for a Day, shadowing classes, connecting with current Knights, and seeing what makes LC home.

To every student who joined us: THANK YOU for spending the day with us! We hope you walked away feeling welcomed, inspired, and excited about all the possibilities that await you at LC. Most importantly, we hope you experienced the incredible community, faith, and family spirit that make Lexington Catholic so much more than just a school.

A special thank you to our amazing faculty, staff, and Student Ambassadors who helped make the day such a success and showed our Future Knights what it truly means to be part of the LC family!

ICONS OF CHRIST

Studying the defense of sacred images, then painting our own. Last week, Dr. Valentino's theology students created icons of Christ and the saints to close out their unit.

STUDENTS RECREATE HISTORICAL CERAMICS

Today our ceramics students presented three weeks of work. Each student in Mrs. Stamps’ class researched a historical piece of ceramics, learning where it came from and how it was made, then hand-built their own work inspired by it. We love seeing research and craftsmanship come together like this.

HALOWEEN RECAP

Halloween might be over, but we're not done with these costumes yet. Here's a look back at last Friday at Lexington Catholic.

Lexington Catholic, this is your invitation to Lourdes and Rome.

Mr. Samuel Mandt is leading a pilgrimage for LCHS students to some of the most sacred places in the Catholic world. You’ll pray at the grotto where Our Lady appeared, walk through the basilicas of Rome, and share it all with your classmates and teachers.

Students, parents, and anyone curious, see the full itinerary and details here.

In honor of our 75th year, an anonymous alumna has given $75,000 to bring new curtains, new lighting and long-overdue electrical work to the stage where generations of Knights have found their voice. We’re only $10,000 away from making it happen. Close the gap and work begins in February 2027.
