Today we honor the heavenly birthday of Father Norman Fischer, whose life of faith, joy, and service continues to inspire us all. May we celebrate his memory by living with the same kindness, passion, and faith that he so beautifully shared.

Come join the fun celebrating Fr. Norman's birthday tonight at The Artists' Studio as they continue raise funds for the Fr. Norman Fischer Foundation! Donations raised will provide grants to support his three fave things: vocation, evangelization, and holy art.

For the third year in a row, Lexington Catholic has been voted the Best High School in Lexington by readers of kentucky.com. To everyone who took the time to vote, thank you. We are proud of this, and we are more proud of the students who make it true every day. Once a Knight, always a Knight.

FIRST ALL-SCHOOL MASS HELD

Yesterday, our school community came together for our first All-School Mass of the year. During the liturgy, SGA unveiled our 2026-2027 school theme: "Spirit Starts With Us." It's a reminder that the faith, energy, and pride that define our school don't come from somewhere else. They start with each one of us.

FRESHMAN BREAKFAST HELD

Our annual freshman breakfast, in partnership with PAC was held yesterday that brought together fresh faces and budding friendships. Students enjoyed Chick-fil-A, fruit, and snacks while starting their high school journey together.

AUGUST 'THE HEART OF THE KNIGHTS' EMPLOYEE

Mrs. Anne Bradford is a 1992 graduate of Lexington Catholic High School and is in her 31st year as a math teacher. Throughout her career at Lexington Catholic, she has taught nearly every level of mathematics, from Algebra 1 through AP Calculus BC—everything except Geometry! This year, she teaches Precalculus & Trigonometry, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Mrs. Bradford has served as Head of the Math Department since 2022. She is truly a treasure to the Lexington Catholic community!

Mrs. Bradford is also committed to professional growth and has attended numerous professional development conferences, including those hosted by Texas Instruments and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM). Most recently, she attended the Innovative School Summit in Nashville, Tennessee, with Mrs. Bailey and Dr. Gartland.

Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Bradford enjoys spending time with her husband, Doran, and their two sons. Andrew is currently studying architecture at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, while Ethan is a senior at LCHS. You can often find Mrs. Bradford cheering Ethan on at his games or lending a hand at the Knight’s Kastle. We are grateful for the many years of dedication, knowledge, and heart that Mrs. Bradford has given to Lexington Catholic. Congratulations to Mrs. Anne Bradford, our first The Heart of the Knights employee!

One parent per family is strongly encouraged to attend. Knights Kastle will be open for shopping.

Thank you to Forcht Bank for sponsoring the Parent Social — new and returning families welcome!

Thank you for the incredible support you've shown our teachers. We wanted a way to support them, in addition to the supplies they already receive from the school. Every item purchased goes straight into a classroom, helping to enhance and support the classroom experience, and into the daily work of making a Lexington Catholic education what it is.
