Learning Program at the Kollel
Indulge your neshama with a special dose of Torah on the long winter Friday nights. The Kollel Beis Medrash is open (with chavrusos available by request) for our new Leil Shabbos seder. Refreshments are served. The program runs from 8-9:30 with optional shiur from 9:10-9:30 and is followed by a hearty cholent and kugel snack!

The Philadelphia Community Kollel's sixteenth annual dinner will be held on January 15, 2017 at the Hilton City Avenue. It's hard to believe but Chanukah is only a few weeks away. It's always challenging to get into the proper mindset so here's a great idea to help you do just that. Shivti is a brand new, 3-week Sunday morning program, for men and boys, K-3rd grade. Come to the Kollel for these three Sunday mornings and study a topic related to Chanukah. Men will join a group led by Kollel Rabbis, and boys will enjoy a special presentation on the lower level each week.
Schedule: November 20 & December 4 & 11
8:00 a.m.  Shacharis
8:45 a.m.  A gourmet breakfast with bagels, pancakes, omelets, iced coffee and a flavored brewed coffee bar.
Men: 9:20 a.m.-10:20 -  Chavrusah and Group Learning in Beis Medrash
(based on the renowned Shivti curriculum )
Boys: 9:20 - 10:20 a.m. -  Special presentation on the Lower Level followed by raffle drawings.

Rabbi Reisman Navi Shiur
For Our 12th Year
Join us for our twelfth season!
Each Motzaei Shabbos (Saturday night), this shiur reaches us from Brooklyn, NY where it is received by over 1,000 people each week. Take advantage of the TCN revolution to experience outstanding shiurim. This shiur is shown at two locations, in Merion Station and in Northeast Philadelphia at Cong. Bnai Israel, 8201 Castor Avenue, Philadelphia as a Joint Project of BIOZ, TCN, and the P.C. Kollel. For more information on the Northeast location, please call 215-342-2999.

  • With profound gratitude to Hashem Yisborach, Mesivta Yesodei Yisroel will be opening this coming Elul in Elkins Park. Mesivta Yesodei Yisroel represents the third mesivta that has been created under the auspices of Yeshivas Ohr Hachaim in New York. These three mesivtas are bonded together by a common goal - to produce genuine b'nei Torah and budding lamdonim who possess the skills and tools necessary for success. On Sunday, November 27, Mesivta Yesodei Yisroel will host an Open House beginning at 2:30PM at its location on the beautiful Mandell Campus in Elkins Park (7607 Old York Road).
